The story behind 5th idea

Winston Churchill once said; “We shape our buildings; thereafter they shape us”. This is particularly true when it comes to our homes. In a way, homes are cornerstones of our lives. They set us for the day in the morning, shelter us in the evening and recharge us at night.

Thus, how we shape our homes is of utter importance. The quality of living is especially important to millennials, a generation which is currently buying, renovating and building their homes. Being a millennial myself, as well as architecture and modern living enthusiast, I happen to perfectly understand what are people going through when planning their ideal living space. Globally, and even more locally here in Croatia, there’s a huge gap and disconnection between what current market needs and what the industry supplies it with.

So I decided to close it.

The market itself needs guidance. Millennials, which not only have significantly different interests, values, habits and behavior, also have distinctive needs, communication style and the most importantly, unconventional home planning journey.

This is how Architecture Beast and Suvremeni Brlog platforms were born.

On the other hand, the industry undeniably needs assistance and quality solutions that will connect companies with their millennial customers. In order to succeed in this unprecedented market, companies need to embrace new technologies, adapt to current market behavior and accomplish Company-Market-Fit (CMF). Being the largest generation and moving into its prime spending years, millennials don’t just care what you as a company do, but also why you do it and how you do it.
